The fourth edition of the Marina di Varazze Classic Cars has ended.
The 1934 Singer Le Mans Special Speed won the “Best in Show”

The Marina di Varazze Classic Cars Elegance Competition has reached its fourth edition, organized by Marina di Varazze itself and the Club Ruote d’Epoca Riviera dei Fiori , an event that has among its peculiar elements the combination of vintage engines and marine setting, in addition to the now traditional parade through the scenic Lungomare Europa, a pedestrian stretch that connects Varazze to nearby Cogoleto for about five kilometers along the route of the old railway.

The 30 participating crews, in addition to sharing moments of conviviality in the Marina, were able to enjoy a pleasant outing at sea on Saturday afternoon aboard an Azimut 60 Fly yacht, kindly made available by the Avigliana shipyard, accompanied by the Councilor for ‘environment of Varazze Maria Angela Calcagno, an exceptional guide who was able to illustrate the beauties and characteristics of the Gulf of Varazze during navigation, emphasizing the biodiversity of the faunal ecosystem.

The parade of the competing cars through the city and along the Lungomare Europa took place the following day, returning to the Marina in the late morning and awarding. The evaluation of the cars was followed by the ASI commissioners (Automotoclub Storico Italiano) composed of Antonio Fraioli and chaired by Stefano Cerrone. Guest of honor at the event, the ASI vice president, Antonio Verzera who paraded on a MG Morris Tipo Turismo TC – 1949.
